These terms apply to your use of this website and to the education counselling services provided by Abroad Pilot. Please read them before relying on anything published here.
The service we provide
We provide education counselling, university and programme selection, application preparation and submission support, documentation guidance, student visa preparation guidance and pre-departure assistance.
What we do not, and cannot, promise
This is the most important section on the page.
- Admission decisions are made by universities, applying their own criteria. We do not make them and cannot guarantee them.
- Visa and residence permit decisions are made by government authorities. We do not make them and cannot guarantee them.
- Scholarship awards are made by institutions on the basis of your application. We can tell you what you are eligible to apply for; we cannot promise an award.
Any organisation offering you a guaranteed admission, a guaranteed visa or a guaranteed scholarship is making a promise it has no authority to keep. We do not make such claims, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does.
Information on this website
Tuition fees, living costs, entry requirements, intake dates and visa requirements are published as indicative guidance and are checked periodically. They change, sometimes without notice, and the institution or authority concerned is always the authoritative source. We confirm the current position for your specific case during counselling.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and truthful information and documents
- Tell us promptly if your circumstances change during an application
- Meet the deadlines we set out for documents and payments
- Pay tuition deposits, application fees and visa fees directly to the relevant institution or authority
Submitting falsified documents is grounds for us to end our engagement immediately, and will normally result in a permanent ban from the institution and immigration system concerned.
Fees
Counselling, university shortlisting and application guidance are provided without charge for the destinations and institutions we work with directly. Where a service fee applies, it is set out in writing and agreed before any chargeable work begins. We do not introduce fees later in the process.
Third-party costs — tuition deposits, application fees, English test fees, translation, apostille, visa fees, insurance and travel — are payable by you directly to the relevant provider and are not included.
Cancellation
You may stop working with us at any time by telling us in writing. Where a chargeable service has already been delivered, the agreed fee for the completed work remains payable. Third-party fees already paid to institutions or authorities are subject to their own refund policies, not ours.
Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for decisions made by universities or immigration authorities, for changes in institutional or government policy, or for losses arising from inaccurate information you have provided to us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this website belong to Abroad Pilot unless stated otherwise. You may read and share it; you may not republish it as your own.
